Dr. Thomas E. Blockley
Dr. Thomas E. Blockley is a graduate of Red Bank High School, where he was an accomplished wrestler. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a BS in Chemistry and Biology and then received his dental degree (DDS) from The University of Tennessee in 1974. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Blockley worked for the Chattanooga Public Health Department for one year before beginning private dental practice in Red Bank 1975.
He is a member of the Chattanooga Area Dental Society, the Tennessee Dental Association and the American Dental Association. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Dentistry (FACD) and a Fellow in the International College of Dentistry (FICD). He is a past president of the Chattanooga Area Dental Society and was a finalist for the Tennessee Dentist of the year award 2010.
He has served on numerous Medical/Dental mission trips to Honduras and most recently served in Haiti. Dr. Blockley and his wife, Karen, give time at the Lone Oak Free Dental Clinic at the back of Signal Mountain and he has served at the Inner-City Dental Clinic as well as serving with the Remote Area Medical(RAM)Clinic. He is a member of Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church and enjoys spending time with Karen and family. His outside the office activities also include hunting, fishing, and physical fitness.
